"Identification for Extreme Temperatures"

The Porcelain TigTag is white porcelain coated 14 GA cold steel which is laser marked using a black ceramic frit and then fired. The marked tag may then be attached to the product to be tracked using small TIG or GMAW welds onto the bare tag edges or screw mounting through the holes .

The TIGTAG can survive temperatures of 1200 deg F. (650 deg C)

Typical applications are the identification of glass molds , and other hot products . Shown below is the porcelain TIGTAG with a protective adhesive cover piece which is placed over the TIGTAG during sandblasting or ball peen cleaning. The cover is removed prior to again encountering high temperatures.
